The brewery was Aurora, Colorado’s first when owners Kevin DeLange and Michelle Reding opened with a 7 BBL brewhouse in a 900-square-foot space in 2005.
Bottom fermenting yeast originating from the VLB – Berlin. A genuine German style dried lager yeast, developing the best of its lager notes under low-temperature fermentation (46-50 Deg. F). Good flocculation with excellent attenuation makes S-23 an excellent choice for the production of a wide range of lager and pilsner beers.
