Visit dry dock brewing co.
The brewery was Aurora, Colorado’s first when owners Kevin DeLange and Michelle Reding opened with a 7 BBL brewhouse in a 900-square-foot space in 2005.
Lacto-fermenting vegetables (think classic dill pickles or sauerkraut) used to be all about food preservation and eating out-of-season produce, but it can mean so much more. Fermenting veggies gives new life and flavor to the food plucked from your backyard garden or bought at your local farmers market. It’s easy, it’s fun, and it’s amazingly healthy.
This kit is perfect for both the first time fermentor and someone who has been doing it for years. The fermentation weight is a heavy glass weight that keeps your vegetables fully submerged during fermentation and has a hole in it so you can easily get it in and out of the jar. Using an airlock means that you don’t have to worry about “burping” your ferment and keeps everything you want in the jar in, and everything you don’t want out.
Great for lacto-pickles, kraut, kimchi and more!
