How long have you been homebrewing?
I actually started my brewing journey on a 15-barrel system and later made the transition to homebrewing. I’ve only been homebrewing for about a year or so, and am now working as a brewer!

What is your favorite beer style to make?
My favorite beer I’ve made is an Apricot Pale Ale with cracked black pepper and I currently have a lavender orange saison aging! I love the classics; West Coast IPA, German Pils, and Hefeweizens are some of my favorites, but I also love to see people put their own spin on a style and experiment.

Are you a member of any brew clubs or organizations?
I was part of a homebrew club while I lived in  England for a period of time and still tune-in here and thee when they’re doing virtual meet-ups during the pandemic.

Have you won any medals or awards?
I personally haven’t won any awards or entered any homebrew competitions yet.

Describe your brewing system or equipment.
I have the Anvil Foundry 10.5 gallon All-in-one system that I bought from The Brew Hut and I love it! I’m transitioning into an apartment and so happy to have a smaller system that doesn’t take up much space and is so easy to clean. My brew days are short, the efficiency has also been pretty good, all for a great price too!

What piece of equipment or brewing process has made the most difference in your beer?
For me, my kegerator is my favorite piece of equipment. I know the transition from bottling to kegging can be a little expensive, but I think it makes all the difference and makes racking off my homebrew so much quicker and easier. Plus, I love having friends over to try my homebrew and knowing there’s less waste in the process!

What other hobbies and interests do you have?
Brewing have taken up most my time, but when I have a moment to spare, I love playing guitar, going for nature walks, DIY projects/woodworking and refurbishing, and cuddling my pupper, Piper.

Is there anything else that you would like to share about yourself?
I also love doing my homebrew shopping at The Brew Hut! Everyone is so helpful, so kind, and doesn’t judge me when I make 3 trips to The Brew Hut before a brew day because I forgot an ingredient or forgot to fill up my co2 tank. Ha!
