The brewery was Aurora, Colorado’s first when owners Kevin DeLange and Michelle Reding opened with a 7 BBL brewhouse in a 900-square-foot space in 2005.
Learn to Homebrew Day was established in 1999 by the American Homebrewers Association to promote & educate people about the best hobby in the world. Each year, The Brew Hut invites local brewers to come out and brew with us in the back of the shop, as well as hosts new brewers and offers a free educational classes on homebrewing in our classroom.
This class is the perfect starting point for those that are interested in learning the art of brewing beer at home. Students will participate in brewing a 5-gallon extract batch of beer. This includes an overview of all of the ingredients, equipment and supplies that are needed during the brewing process. Students will be provided with detailed information on sanitation, brewing and fermentation, as well as participate in a demonstration on packaging and bottling. By the end of the day, you will not only know how much fun brewing can be, you will also have all of the information that you need to brew your first extract batch of beer.
Price: $25 (Adults 21 and over)
Students will receive a 10% discount on any purchases made on the day of the class.
