The Brew Hut Annual Homebrew Competition 2017

Registration for contestants and volunteers is now open!

Our Annual Homebrew Competition is coming up on Saturday, October 14 and registration for participants and volunteers is now open!

Entry is FREE, open to all 2015 BJCP beer categories (including ciders and mead) and limited to 2 per person. Must be Colorado resident to enter. Entry registration and competition details can be found at thebrewhut.brewcomp.com.

Here are some useful dates and deadlines to keep in mind.

Registration
OPEN: September 1, 12:00 AM, MDT
CLOSE: September 30, 4:00 PM, MDT.

Entry drop-off at The Brew Hut
OPEN: September 16, 10:00 AM, MDT
CLOSE: September 30, 5:00 PM, MDT.

Judging & Awards Ceremony
Judging will take place on Saturday, October 14 at The Brew Hut with an awards ceremony to follow (approximately 3:00 pm). Places will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each category/table. The 1st place entry in each category will advance to the Best of Show (BOS) round with a single, overall Best of Show beer selected.

The Best of Show recipe will be brewed by the Dry Dock Brewing Company and be served at their tap room and serve as the Dry Dock entry into the Pro-Am Competition at the 2018 Great American Beer Festival.
